Post by: Steve CM on May 05, 2009, 08:19:51 pm: it doesn't look a professional fit, who done it? You can pick the van up for about 4k nowadays and a brand new pure freedom setup for about 2k fitted. Not to put to finer point on it i think your way over priced

[ did see one at £4995 but you had to put VAT on it ] yes purefreedom system fitted £2550.
As for "dodgy" system , whats "dodgy" about it, tank caged and bolted to the floor with support struts , system produces 0.00tds works perfectly and never let me down, i've spoken to you before you kindly talked me through Backflushing and i described the system to you in detail, you never said it sounded dodgy then !.
I aint a tech head the system works well , and it's in a decent van £6k

i just said who installed it? using wood to mount stuff, the wiring don't look to pro either, am i missing something?? i wouldn't worry what vans are advertised for i would worry about how much you'd get ;) not unless you want to sit on it for ages.

Checked them out 1 £4,5k good buy, other 110,000 on clock , i looked on autotrader for ave prices ebay fair bit cheaper, seems prices have dropped with c crunch ! ,tbh might keep set up if can't get £5,5k for it.

Perhaps Paul Th might buy it though because on his compact patch it would hardly have to move at all so where's the risk? ;)

sorry mate I would never buy Vivaro again after all the gearbox problems they have, you say it has done 25K so that means in the next 20K your'll be looking at £2K for a new gearbox
