I took my Ionic brush off and simply fitted the tucker only by taking out the jets and refitting them simples lol
but this brush is so much SUPERIOR then any other brush we have tried it just gets the job done and at 50 quid
a brush mere peanuts compared to the time lost messing about with other brushes but I would like to try one of
Mr Gardiners super- lite just to compare??
-
just look how it splays really nice
-
and this brush is 3 years old !!! :o :o ;D ;D ;D
-
3 years and hot water???
I like what I see!
I converted a 18" DT last night and used it today,.. I was VERY impressed!
-
Easy to convert i`ve done a couple all you need is 2 bolt jets and a superlite brush thread plate, takes about 10 minutes to do.
-
is the tucker brush the best you can buy ? if not what is and how much.at the moment i use double trim 12" with fan jets .
-
I`m being honest here when i say i wouldn`t bother with postage there almost £60,the SL brushes are lighter feel better on the glass to work with and are far easier to direct over the glass to where you want it to go.
-
were do you get the SL brush
-
NWH the superlite is better you recon I really would like to try one but dont want to waste any money
so if you thinks better I will have to try one for myself what about HOT water like I have will it survive??
coz the tucker is the GOD or the DADDY of all brushes inmo

NWH this supre lite is lighter than a tucker is it as the tucker weighs nothing much
-
Believe me when i tell you that the Tucker feels heavy compared to these.
-
ok cool
-
The thing with the Tucker is that when wet it retains the water in the bristles making it feel heavier, the SL brushes are different they retain no water and dry out almost as soon as there wet.
-
Gardiners brushes are defo lighter, but if the Tucker stands up to hot water its worth the sacrifice!
-
I use hot water with them and the shape is the same as the day i got them.

Mine stayed good for a few months,. but after time the started to warp. The stock of the single trim one bent, the bristles on the DT deformed. They damage wasn't huge, but it doesn't take much distortion to turn a perfect brush into a useless one,.. if the bristles are no longer evenly spread then you'll miss bits of glass. Hopefully the tucker will survive longer as they are double the price!
-
my gardiners dt flocked brush is not holding well to hot.. it splayed out of shape..
the flocked has know been substituted by the DT white which stands up a little better to hot.
-
How hot can you get your water with your Thermopure my water is hottish but not boiling lol. ;D
-
Over priced, over sexed and over here.
I popped in and bought 2 spray jets from Tucker yesterday. Cost me over £30 and they're useless.
A molded plastic thing at that price, yet I then went and ordered spray jets from WCW at less than £10 and these actually give the right formation.

I normally run at about 50 degrees,.. but on cladding cleans turn it up to 70 or 80 degrees C and the dirt just melts away!
:)

i use 30 /40 degs this time off year and full heat on con roofs
