Post by: richy27 on May 01, 2009, 05:41:52 pm
hi been trying my leaflets for while with little success. i get a lot of work from ad magazines parish papers etc but my leaflets are not getting me much at all. i deliver them myself and try to do about 1200 per week and my response is pretty much zilch.

has anyone got copies of successful leaflets they have used to help me a bit as a newbie cant keep throwing my money away on leflets that are not working

Regards

Richard

Mike yes I like the look , you come across as a real action man when you look at the back .

to be honest I think its ace just because it dont look like the usuals that have been regurgitated time and time again .

Derek, have you never seen a rotory before ::) ::)

I'm pleased with the back, but the front will be changed on the next batch, its too basic, its needs a little bit more info.

I thought I'd try something a bit more in-your-face for a couple of months

I actually think the front is a bit crap but it will work because 30,000 a month go out.

unless they go through 1000s of letterboxes, they won't work.

Richard

Thats the problem if you give them to a company to deliver them ::)

I did some last yr and its not a nice job so finding someone you can trust is what you need.

Got someone in jan here to drop me 7 or 8 hundred or so and did get calls and a few jobs..

Saw a bin being filled with brochures last week...............two boys had passed me with bags over their shoulders to appear behind a house where they dumped the brochures / leaflets in a bin.

Richard the way to check if your leaflet has been delivered is to find a postcode that should have been covered and at random find a telephone number from the phone book within that postcode and very politely make the call and ask if they have had a leaflet delivered.

That way you know one way or another.
