hi guys, im having problems with dripping quick release connectors on my tech clean 13 hp pressure washer. my van floor is getting soaked, what shall i do?mdoes anyonw else suffer with this?
-
I expect they are worn and need replacing, have you tried giving them a good wash to make sure that there is no grit etc trapped inside.
Check with Tech clean!

Try new o rings first and run a file round the male end of the connector if its a bit rough

Yep sounds like "O" rings, need replacing, easy to do and costs pence, get some spares at the same time.
-
where is the o ring in the quick release connector?
-
On Tech-Cleans fittings there are 3 "O" rings inside the female connector where the male connetor goes in, they are just rubber rings, can't remember the sizes off-hand but 2 are the same size, give Jan a call and she'll get some in the post to you. As I said before get some spare as they just go with wear and tear.
-
do you just push them in or do you have to take the connector off the machine first?
-
no need to disconect them from the machine. Just get out the old ones with ssome thin pliers (or your keys) and pop in the new ones. Just make sure they are all in properly!
