Couple of Scorpions been sold quickly recently Robert.
You should get a buyer for yours pretty quick.
-
Good back-up machine Joe,so will hold onto it for a while. Had an offer of £1400, so may sell and put a grand to it then have two Alltec Advances.
Son might come in with me but he's busy with our Mobility Business at the moment.
Regards Rob
-
Just been on the Altec site. They are quoting the Advance as £2697. Will they let you get it without any hose and wand etc at a reduced price?
Chris
-
Thats the way I went ,ask for Chris, he did my deal £2505.85 with the vat no tools.
Regards Rob
-
I;m sure I paid more for my Ninja about 4 years ago
-
Think rob is right as i bought all the extras ie extra hoses and wand and upholstery and stair tool etc.
-
Hm with those upwards facing vac tubes there may be a chance that any condensation on the lid will form into water droplets and drip/get sucked into your vacuums maybe they should have been facing downwards or to the side.
-
Sanjuro, my Alltec Aqua 40 has identical set-up (twin vac),had it for five years, no problems yet.
Regards Rob
-
Rob , looks some ones really pleased with there new investment .
have you had to pull it up a fight of stairs yet ??
think it was rob saunders that dropped 1 off to Paul pearce when I did the NCCA course and he said you can have them colour coded to ur biz and even have your logo on it instead of altec s.

I was told its v quiet as well ???
Am going to use over a 100 ft hose on mine and even with my old set ups always left them outside..
-
I know I am being picky but I'm not liking the heater switch. It looks odd and is without power indicator bulb.
On our twin vac advance it's the same as all of the others.
I wonder if they ran out of switches :o
-
Not sure why they did that either ???
There again i like the idea of a shared switch rather than another plug ::)
-
How do you adjust the pressure??
John
-
John
There is a photo that shows the rear of the machines with the cables plus the pressure gauge and brass adjustment numpty.
-
They used to be a plastic one to adjust the pressure but guess with a clout it would give ::)
-
Looks a bit home made to me.
-
Hope the pump's easy to change :)
-
Can we have a photo of the "works" ie vacs and pump etc
-
but you turn that "negative" into a "positive" Clinton.
It might be cheaper for YOU to run then a TM, but its not cheaper for the householder - using their eleccy, and their water (how many are on water meters these days).
So you sell them the fact its not costing THEM for eleccy or water.
(but it is costing them cause its in the bill they pay).
-
It was a little joke joe :)
-
The Alltec is very quiet, mainly because of the thickness of its body. Also heater cuts off when third vac is on and visa versa, so customer consumer unit isn't over -loaded.
The Alltec would be heavy to take upstairs but I'd treat it as a small portable Truck-mount and use my Aqua 40 upstairs where needs be.

Robert
What is the max hose lenght you have run it on please ???
cheers
-
Trouble is it ain't really a porty if you cant lug it upstairs :(
-
Clinton, 100' very little drop in performance.
Mark,can you imagine lugging a Prowler upstairs. ;) ;D
