It all depends on your chosen method of cleaning, If your using MS, agitating then extracting I would stick with the wand, On the other hand an in tank detergent will benefit from the agitation gained from the power head.

Hi

They are extremely good on heavy duty stuff, ie pubs, restaurants ect.
I sold a machine a few weeks ago and the guy told me that he didnt want the wand as he only ever used a Power brush.
Its like all the equipment out there, they all have there place.

I had a power brush and it was way better than a wand but only in large areas to much hard work in your standard house

Would be at a loss without my power brush. Only used wand twice in 8 years. Would actually hire a power brush if i was without my own for a whole day.

If you do need a power brush then the Extracta scrubba de luxe is hard to beat.

I was just about to say that, we have two Extracta Exels and two Scrubba Deluxe heads and two wands, very rarely do we  ever use the wands, the Scrubba Deluxe is the business, regardless of the size of room.

I also use microsplitters,  though not universally, and the Scrubba deluxe is a good method of pre-agitation for these before extraction.

I like them they leave the carpet drier and they are far superior to a wand regardless of how many jets it has.

I have a Stimvak Power Brush which I used to use on a regular basis years ago when I had a less powerful machine.

They are excellent on heavy duty work !

These days I seem to manage with using a Host for agitation in most cases.  Not quite as good, But close!

Might sell the 'Power Brush' if anybody wants it.
