Title: Spotter bottle charge...
Post by: benny d on April 29, 2009, 04:43:15 pm
I have just started giving out a 500ml bottle of my Spotting solution to customers, so hopefully they will remember me for next time.
I have had a call from a customer I left a bottle with last week, that he wants another bottle.(Perhaps he druck the last one?!)  :D

Or possibly he might want to get me back with this pretext and then to try and re-remove a bleach stain that I told him on the day wasnt possible to remove? Not sure, but a possibility.

If he just wants another bottle, what do you think is the going rate for a 500ml bottle of spotter?
Thanks

About £2.50. give or take a few pence.

I wanted to be near the price of Vanish/1000.1 but a bit cheaper at the same size bottle.

mine cost roughly 95p and i give them away, plus as long as the custy uses me annually they get free top ups, i just (or will be) go round and top the same bottle up when i'm passing.

if non custys want them, there £10 quid each, that way my regs think there getting a bargain and non custys will wish they use me to clean there carpets. thats the theory anyhoo.

I rung the person, and said £ 8.00 for the bottle. I asked why they needed another bottle so soon, as I only did the work for them last week.

They said thay had used it all on a few bleach stains that hadnt come out during the cleaning! (I had told them on the day that they are permenaant, because of all the cr*p they had used in the past, and dont do it again)!
Call me and I will be along with the TM and all will be rosey!

When I said £8.00, he said he thought they were free!! :o
I said yes after every clean, or a top up if required after a clean.

Pesky people.. Are dey 'fick or summit! ;D
