Title: Moist
Post by: ftp on April 27, 2009, 09:08:37 am
Sunshine and showers today.
So far it's rained through the night and has been  bouncing off the roads for the last two hours- floods everywhere.  :(

It's naff here too (South East Wales), though it seems to be brightening up; so we may head out and do a chunk of work that I want out of the way.

I've got a gutter clean and a conservatory roof clean to do which would be easy peasy in the rain but the customers want them both done on a "nice sunny day".  ::)

Pretty crappy weather here too. Was considering going into garage and fitting a split charge system to van for the pump battery, kinda got involved with a bit of paperwork instead though. Did go and quote a gutter and soffit clean this morning though. Simple enough job which I have charged more for in the past and I got the impression that if I'd said I would do it for nowt it would have been too expensive. Makes you wonder why we bother at all??? :-\

She's working late so I might have a play in garage later. Just need to find a heavy duty switch from somewhere..... Maybe if I strip the old starter off the scrap sierra and just use the solenoid???

the ones i spoke to did nt thank me but also did nt mind me working, but then again they know i m a pro who won t let them down just cos it s a bit wet. Whats the differance if i work in the rain or it rains 4 hours later,i ll tell you what it is it s the cleaners who are either not motivated or have another form of income if you know what i mean. cheers mick
