when you are measuring pole hose do you measure the inside or the outside, i ordered some and i measured the inside at 5mm so ordered 5mm (far too thin), now just checking before i click confirm payment with gardiners that its 8mm and the outside of the hose..
cheers

is the 8mm the inside (id) or outside (od) this confused me big time at the start ;)
Why is 5mm to thin ? what connections you using ?

the hose is 5mm on the inside, i would love to use this because its weightless but it dosnt fit to the y piece on th sl brush or my tap....
-
put end of hose in hot water for a few seconds then push it on your y piece.
-
tried it, no go... ???
-
Gardiners is six inside and eight outside I believe. ;)

I have a gardiner pole on 5mm id hose and on standard rectus 21 fitting, maybe you have 8mm y piece, I would change it over
