Designed and built in the U K !!!!!!!
So, amazingly we now have three new U K built and designed machines as good as or possibly better than anything currently available and what a price for this machine. Wonder what the 600 / triple vac will cost!
-
Is the scorpion included in the 3 ???
-
I think the third one is the Texatherm EMV. I assume it's British ??? Either way we now have a wide choice of UK built quality machines. Good news for us and the industry and the movement of new equipment will probably free up some used twin vacs for those starting up. It all helps keeping money moving around and stimulating our economy as we 'sell' our new equipment to our customers.

Yes was thinking the scorpion comes from america so it could not be the 3rd.
Might keep hold of my old alltec as yet as sold my other 2 back ups and kept the oldest one, there again its never let me down.
Its good to have a chioice as you said and am sure in the next year or so we might even see the 4 or 5 vac set up on a portie..
-
Clinton, I think 5 vac's may throw the Earth of its axis! ;D
-
Ian ;D
You might be right ;D
Be good to see it mind you..

Saw the triple vac New Airflex at CCDO IMPRESSIVE and looks good and very quiet.

The Scorpion is a modified Cross American, a machine that's been around for years. Ed Valentine made a european version and brought out the booster box a few years ago, which evolved into the Mighty One.
Great machines but not British designed or built or designed although John Bolton had a fair bit of input when modifying it to become the Scorpion.

There is already a 4 vac Eclipse Quad in the States.

I tell you what I like about Cleansmart, they do inspire confidence. You feel like when the poo hits the fan they will be there for you.
If I was to start over I would buy their machine, not for it's innovations but the company support.
I have had a gander at their marketing stuff and I can honestly say it will pay for your new machine in no time if you put it into practice.
I would point all Newbies in this direction if they were starting with a portable and Restoremate if you wanted an entry level TM and strong dealer support.

I always thought it was better to buy a machine made buy a large company like EDIC who do the Prochem machines (among others) OR Powr Flite, both have distributors up and down this great land of ours. I use both makes of machine and have never had a problem, why take a chance with an unknown machine... If you want an old fashioned 100 psi machine then get truvox or ashbys, they are both English...and employ good numbers of people who will benifit from the sales. Heck buy my second hand machine lol
Got to clean some right stinky carpets on monday or tuesday , doing a zoo and they had horse and goats doing their business all over the place, plus ther's some albino hedgehog and loads of weird creatures and fish that i have to make sure i dont kill with my pre-spaying..what is safe for animal pre-spray?

Are you the David Preece that owns thebigclean.co.uk? ::)
-
Fish are very very sensitive especially marines. I would just make sure prespary is not being drawn in by air pumps or filters and any suface water is covered.
-
Yeah I Run the Big Clean but I still do the odd carpet clean when I get the chance.

Dave
Ashby's are indeed English..............but the Ninja is an American machine made for both U S and European markets.
As most machines have compatible pumps and vacc's why are you taking a chance by buying British The new machines appear to be more technically advanced and are from established companies.
-
Hi Robert,
My Point was not to get excited because the company in English / British and that there are companies out there that have a real network of distributors/ service engineers. Anyway better open the shop up..
-
Very relevent point Dave and one that all suppliers should deal with to ensure buyers are never without a machine or at least suffer the absolute minimum of downtime.
-
Clinton,
I'll give you a clue! ???
You sometimes get it after it has rained up in the sky, multicolored!
Gary ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi gary ;D
Someone told me the other day ;)
Sounds a good deal for mark so guess he deserves it :)
-
Hi Clinton,
Sure is, good luck to him, mind they put the machine through its paces for a good three months beforehand! My machine still runs fautless 10 months in! Thats why its taken 4 years to develop
