Medium advert is             £20 per Month            £210 per year
Large advert is         £25 per Month            £260 per year
The website is http://INeedAWindowCleaner.synthasite.com

My reply was:

Hello Alan,

Here's what I'll do. If you give me a free advert for 6 months and I get plenty of work from it, I'll pay for an advert for the next six months.

It's called try-before-you-buy. When you prove that I get value for my money, I'll buy.

Up to you, Alan.

Best wishes

Wally

Can't see the point in paid directories when there's so many free ones.

I've never of heard anyone getting loads of work from any paid one  ::)

I started the Upvc blog up as a way to allow others to put their details up for FREE....
How can you charge someone for advertising when you haven't even established a site properly......opprtunists.

I may well start another blog for uk window cleaners....FREE ADVERTISING...WHAT DO YOU THINK....ANYONE INTERESTED?

;D ;D I think the site is cute in it's naivity...is Mr Taylor unaware that the whole country is in the middle of an infestation of geezers with pointers tied to the roofs of the family car?  Call me a cynic but I suspect that any "potential customer" doesn't need to log onto ineedawindowcleaner.com when they are already hanging off her doorbell canvassing. It follows that it wouldn't be cost effective to advertise on such a site...gosh I'm being polite tonight!

Mr Taylor, sex and travel spring to mind...damn I just knew the politeness wouldn't last ;D

Yikes! For less than the price of a small advert for 1 month, you can join the Guild for an entire year and get your name listed on www.mgwc.org (Which has a google pagerank of 2 already!) and get all the extra benefits too!
;)
