Hi, what would you reckon on this con roof, IE how much to clean it WFP.
About 40 panels similar to this, very grubby.
thinking Ecover from gardiners, and maybe do finials and gutters.
I'm going to price it competitively, but wondered what the general consensus on here was!!

i wouldnt do it for less than £125 , tfr will bring it up really good with tap water , never used the ecover truckwash but supposed to be good .

Lee you are about right with that.
I'd be charging £120 as thats about 4 times lager than the average Conservatory.
It shouldnt take more than a couple of hours.

I would never quote to a customer from a pic, sometimes con roofs are a right pig to do and 40 panels and they look grim could take 4/5 hours
But I clean the whole thing, pointless doing half a job

you'll be surprised how you can clean off with just pure water, a sil brush and giving it a bloody good soak.

I do them all the time, but 40 panels and all the finals takes time and can take alot of time

for 40 panels that are that dirty I would be charging £200 including gutters and finials and frames

i've done about 15 con roofs now. every time they take longer than I estimated. I use tfr and hot wfp.
it is rare that I come away from a job thinking "that was a nice little earner".
invariably I would have been financially better off just carrying on with my round.
plus most con roofs are HARD WORK imo.
I think that con roof would take about a day of HARD WORK, and would charge for a fairly expensive day rate of £300.
ideally the customer would not want to pay £300 and i'd be free to carry on with my round!
40 panels of filthy con roof will never be easy, it depends how much you want the work.

I never quote without the option of doing the gutters and sides too.
I would quote around £300, but would deffo want to see it 1st, one part of the con may be difficult to reach etc,
All i ever use is a pole attached to the custies tap, NEVER have ever needed anything else to clean a roof. i love em!!

I have found that £5.00 a full-size panel is a good guide. Whenever I have priced less than this I always regret it.
Ultimately we should be earning more than we can earn on window cleaning, otherwise it is pointless taking on the work.
