Is there a way other than gloves to stop your hands+ clothes getting black from the pole? it ends up everywhere.

Maybe Alex should paint them pink then you wouldnt see the dirt on your hands  ;D ;D ;D

Tape the section of the pole you hold the most.

i bought these foam handles from halfords, they just slip over the pole, best thing i ever got, not for the sl-x but am sure it would do just the same job.

No lads, you've got the wrong end of the stick. The black hands don't come from the base section that you hold all day 'cos that never wears. It's the carbon dust from the other sections where they slide in and out.  ;)

Oh my god our other halves must be related as that sounds just like my misses.

JUST PUT PTFE SPRAY ON YOUR SECTION !! :o :o or sections with a cloth and should
keep it dust free and slide real nice with minimal black hands
