Not here my old fruit! I have the same domestic/commercial ratio that I had three years ago and overall have gained both. Why mock others who may be struggling?
-
i'm 90% domestic and feel for anyone who is losing work, domestic or commercial

Yep agree, silly comment.

No its not.
getting new comm work in every day. only lost one job.
My opinion is that all windows need cleaning, there is enough for everyone. the work just gets moved around from one company to the next. a good service at a competitive rate gos a long to ensuring you keep the work.

Gotta say though, ive always looked after my domestics, even the little £6 ones for the last 5 years, they have always been there and would say they always will be, unlike some of the commercial ive lost lately and been asked to drop prices.
I agree with the comment.

I view any commercial work i do as a bonus. Domestic work is my bread and butter.

Why would someone (like me ) feel a lesser mortal than someone who cleans more com' than I do? If there was more money in com' than dom' I would change my custy base.
Bit strange to say all that mate. In my third or forth year I took on a load of city hall type contracts. I found it more stress than it was worth and I was having to employ people too.
That brings it's own headaches. All of the schools went from 3 monthly to 12 monthly and no price change !!
I only do com' now that is no bigger than a 6 hour job. There must be enough of that about in UK surely.

i do a some very nice commercial contracts, just about to pick up another ( it looks in the bag from my chat with the manager, i did have to sell myself and use a few tricks ;))
BUT commercial stuff comes and goes, i enjoy it while i can, but recently its not look as good as domestic with cut backs in frequency
