Title: how much
Post by: C.C.S. on April 18, 2009, 08:07:13 pm
just wondering how much would u charge for doing this house.
that's the front .in the back is nearly the same.,just instead of that big window is a normal one and instead of the door is a patio door. I've changed from trad to wfp reccently and i tend to charge 1 or 2 pounds less.i've estimated that 15 quid .is it too cheap|?thanks

Obviously it depends where you are in the country.... but i'd say £15 is about right

i don't think that 2 weekly cleans apply to much this days for residential so i'll stick with 4,6,8 and 12 weeks

You cant do a very good job then  if you have to keep going back  :P

Windows DO NOT get dirty enough to require a re-clean after 14 days. End off. (Unless of course your from Coronation Street country where they speak with a funny accent, breed whippets/pigeons or both and live down't pit  ;D )

Afraid of work? You dont know me.

Quite the opposite, which is why I CANT be running around over the same ground twice in 2 weeks, like some who arent busy enough  ;)

i think that's about right ,not even 4 weeks as for some customers seems to be too quick.in some months you even clean them twice for example you do them on 1st of the month and next clean is due on 30th or 31 st.i doesn't feel right

Are you up north by any chance?

We clean 4 8 and 12 weekly but we are down south it is the norm here, I wish I could clean every 2 weeks are job would be even easier some afer 8 weeks look quite clean, then we do a good job  ;D

With WFP i go back to jobs after 6-8 weeks sometimes and think have they got someone else to clean them in between me coming because they`ve stayed so clean every 2 weeks for me would only be a shop,as for charging £15 for that job in the picture if it had the same round the back £15 is a joke it must be cut throat where you come from to be charging £15 for anything like that.Lets all start looking at jobs like we`ve got to ladder them guy`s your driving prices back down into the 80`s.

yes based in leeds our 2 weekly cleans are like maintinance cleans or on main roads dont take long to do, they are bread and butter work.  I have large residential homes and commercial jobs that i do 6 weekly. i leave it to the customer to decide how often they wish windows to be cleaned, alot say 2 weekly and others 4, but if they are happy im happy  ;D ;D

That is what matters at the end of the day, if your profit is fine and customers are happy all is good and people should not slate it. I just wish all my customers where 2 weekly then again that would be even more of a head ache than it is now :-\  would still do it though  ;)
