Hi folks.I've been cleaning for a couple of months and only a couple of weeks with a wfp backpack. As I only have a handful of customers I only work one day a week on window cleaning.I made 400 litres of pure water when I first started a couple of weeks back which I still have the best part of a garden butt full of.I'm just on my way out to do a couple of cleans this afternoon but to my dismay the TDS meter read 005 when I tested it.The question is,can I get away with this just for today,or will I have to get rid of it and knock some more up over the weekend?(Basically, does the water have to be 000 pure, just for a one off?)I'd sooner not have to do the cleans trad if possible as there are more than a few awkward windows.Thanks.

You should be Ok with that.

Thanks Chris.Any thoughts on why the reading has gone up?Everything is brand spanking new.

You will be ok with that mate ;) Temp sometimes affects TDS readings...

Probably just wind blowing stuff into the waterbutt hosepipes can contaminate the water as well when you transfer it into into your tank, I left some pure in one once and took the tds 2 days after and it was about 120 :o I only use clear marine pipe to transfer and microbore now.

Your water shouldn't rise from 000 to 005 in a week; even if they are in water butts.
Have you checked what's coming out from your RO now?
I use water butts and there's slugs and leaves in mine; and my water still is 000.
Pure water is not as delicate as you may think. And 005 will be fine to clean with; no problems.
