Title: Retail Chain Outlets - Quote
Post by: Seers on April 16, 2009, 08:48:40 pm
Hi,

I have a tender for weekly shopfront window cleaning at 32 stores in England.

I have to let the main contractor know tomorrow whether I can cover it. We have a fixed price of £35 a month for each store to work to, one visit every week for externals and internals to be included on one visit per month.

Store locations are:

Basildon
Beccles
Berkhamstead
Biggleswade
Bishops Stortford
Borenamwood
Brentwood
Bury St. Edmunds
Cambridge
Chippenham
Colchester
Dorchester
Dunstable
Gloucester
Harlow
Ipswich
Kings Lynn
Kingston
London Staples Corner
London Westfield
Marlborough
Norwich
Peterborough x 2
Rayleigh
South Woodford, London
West Thurrock
Twickenham
Watford

Ideally this is for guys with work very close to these stores as the price doesn't leave much to work with. Anyone interested in work please email huw@seerclean.com

Cheers,

Huw

At that price,  at least,  you won't be owed much if they go bust.  ;D

Hi,

I know!

But only been given this at the last minute, the price is not very good unless you're on the high street cleaning already.

Cheers,

Huw.

Hi,

The only stores on offer are the ones on the list! I thought that would be the easiest way! ;)

I have had tenders like this before and they ditched it on me only a week before they wanted the quote and there terms where rediculus, so I just binned it, these jobs are not worth the hassle when they treat you like that. You are a business and they are the customer, so you set the price and the terms not them.

Well that's my opinion anyway.

We have a fixed price of £35 a month for each store to work to, one visit every week for externals and internals to be included on one visit per month.

Four/five visits a month to clean supermarket windows all for £35.00 :o

£35.00 for one visit inside and out would be very cheap

These prices remind me of a basic business quotation :-
Profit for sanity Turnover for vanity
