Hi - I bought the giant microwipe and it has a wash tag on it for the hottest temp 90 - so maybe if you put it on the whites cycle -
found it to be a great cloth for a newbie like me who probably resorts too much to post squeegie repairs :)
Never paid much attention to the different sides just used it like a normal scrim

Don't stick them in with ordinary clothes like I did.

They come out smelling of whatever cleaning stuff you use.

My missus went nuts when she put her undies on.  :(

There's a chap on ebay selling the large ones for £5.00, just got 4 delivered today, spot on.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11702&item=4372097019&rd=1

(Hope that link works, if it doesn't just do a search on "Unger"

We've been using them since I bought the first two at the NEC show in March, love them.

Just wash as normal, don't use any conditioner. I can't get all the black rubber marks out either.

Ye but what side do you use? 1 side is smoother then the other.

Use both sides, they aren't 'side specific'.
Odd things too aren't they, when you are using them they feel like a new chamois leather. ;)

Don't wrry about the few marks that may still be on them when they come out tof the washing machine, you aren't wearing them for Sunday best, you're cleaning windows with them! ;)

Beware conditioner though 8) Actually, I've never liked using conditioner with scrims either, better off without it ;)

My missus always adds conditioner to the scrims and microfibres.

It send me nuts because it does seem to affect detailing.

Not when they're completely dry but when they get a little bit damp.

I have always tumble dried my scrims, even in the summer, usually 30 minutes before I go out of the door, well actually it tends to end out that I am walking out of the door, bang on time and then realise all scrims are still in the washing machine :o
So it's a case of slapping 3 scrim in the drier and slapping myself around the head for 20 minutes in frustration as I wait for them to dry. :'(

I've found the microfibres take longer to dry than scrim though, the result of the much denser weave no doubt ;)
