Post by: marcusjoseph1978 on April 16, 2009, 12:04:55 am
Could anybody tell me who they use for insurance and how much they pay. (Domestic cleaning) employing upwards of five staff.
Many thanks.

Hi,

Well you might be best going for an insurance scheme that allows you to have unlimited employees. Its around they start around the £400 mark

Otherwise on average you are paying around £84.00 per person. However our insurance is slightly higher risk sue to window cleaning.

A word of warning some policys do not cover you to work in hospitals or schools.

Theres no point in mentioning company names as you might get a better deal due to nature of works etc

Just scout about...

Direct Line are into this line of insurance now. Quite reasonable too.

Cactus cover only quotes on turnover so it works out cheaper especially if you have a lot of part time employees.

Cheers

Get as many quotes as you can, you will be surprised at the differences...

Try Allied Insurance Serices; 0844 815 6211 ask for Mark Farrimond.

They were by far the cheapest and cover ladder work, building exteriors and treatment risk all for way less than I could find elsewhere.

Just renewed and tried to get cheaper cover but no one could touch them, even using the same insurer (Quinn).
