Title: Why no Vac power stats published for 2 new 3 vac setups?
Post by: sanjuro on April 13, 2009, 02:37:39 pm
With people saying that the Scorpion is been left behind now that there are 2 new 3 vac setups on the market apart from looks or heat which the Scorpion never had the only thing that they must be talking about is VAC POWER how do they know that the Scorpion is been left behind without any published figures for either of the 2 new machines?

Why haven't any of the 2 makers of the new machines got any stats on their website ? at least World of Clean put what they say is the power of their machine on their website for anyone to disprove.

If both of the 2 new machines are not as powerful on vac power they are still playing catch up on this part of the design looks cant be added to the Scorpion but heat can.

It has always been most interesting that a comment may be made; "The XYZ machine doesn't come with..........".

Well, I know the majority of automobiles that are affordable to the average person like you or me, also "do not come with everything standard" either. Because, the more one wants, the more the item will cost the user. Common sense.

HOWEVER, you can get the 2nd generation SCORPION-XPS system with a PSI gauge, heater..............or even chromed mag wheels! In fact, we do have a very great reason why we have the particular pressure gauge & mounting the way we do and for great reasons for the contractor too. A small but very good innovation really.

In conclusion, even tho the SCORPION-XPS system is not a generic cookie cutter machine in any respect, it can and does come with certain items that other machines do not come with.

So, .............................................please do not consider this unit as lagging behind because it just may be the other way around.

Respectfully and sincerely;

CA;

No, not at all.

Only pointing out two different ways of viewing and comparing. But, I'll wager to say that you already knew that!-LOL.

Thanks, Mate!

Is the business becoming a bit obsessed with more and more (and more) vacuum power i.e. additional vac-motor inclusions and the complicated air-flow/suction relationships that go with a particular set-up when all relevant factors are taken into account ?  Hey, what about the fairly recent past times when one vac was standard ?  Surely C/Cers still did a great job then, even if it was perhaps a little bit harder ?

Specifications have always puzzled me a little !!

My fav machine was an elite and was the pre alltec pro range and had a single vac and loved that machine as it was my first big machine after using a numatic :)

Got a great client base from that and still have many of them still..
