Title: Rhino Extractor - Where for servicing/repairs?
Post by: Paul Simpson on April 10, 2009, 06:27:07 pm
Anyone know where I could get the above repaired?
Its my backup machine that I decided to give an airing and remembered it trips the fuseboxes when used with the heater.
Took it to Ashbys last summer when I had my Ninja serviced for them to look at and they charged me £55 for the privilage of looking at it only to tell me they think its the heater but they can't replace it as they don't have/stock them.
Originally got it from Masterclean-Crawley.......now AMF Carpet Wands, I think. Tried contacting them, left message asking if they still service/repair but they have not replied.
Any ideas anyone?

Cheers
Paul

Try matching the element with one from a supplier like www.wcsuk.com (http://www.wcsuk.com). I would also recommend replacing the cable/plug inside as that could also be faulty. I'm sure you could have the parts fitted locally if you don't want to do it yourself. If it's the old style round plug your best bet might be Alltec as they used those.
