Title: FAO Alex G.

Alex,
I know you'll probably not like the following but:

I intend to purchase from your goodself a SL2 at 35 ft come early summer.
Now I already have 3 x 12 ft Omnipole alloys. (These are nos 1,2 & 3, and so are reasonable in weight)
I only have  a couple of jobs where I need 60 odd feet & so would it be possible to add your sections onto the powerpole?
When I have enough work to warrant the extra SL2 height then I would buy the extra then.
What would the dimension of the 35 ft base section be!
( I'm ok with this bring outside the warranty guidelines)

Thanks kevin.

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately the two pole systems are not compatible. The SL uses a tapered section whereas the Omnipole are straight sections.

Out of interest, what is the o/d of the bottom of the base section?

Thanks kevin.

Alex, I think you have access to more than the customary 2% of your brain than most of us can use. Knowing your dimensions PLUS the oppo's. Impressed.
Thanks, kevin.

Hi Glyn,

Thanks for that. I was quoting the figures for a standard 6 section power-pole.

Hi Kevin,

Not quite sure what you mean by working up from the thinnest section available, but I can sure sell you 45ft SL!
