What is the best ‘dry’ cleaning compound? e.g., Host, Envirodri, Duo-P,
Fibredri etc.

When I used dry compound the most absorbant powder was from Miliken and was like flour but it was a nightmare to vac up and would often take hours to dry as it would pick up on any moisture pre spray or house hold, IMO you need a prespray Nemesis or Mpower would be good for wool or my favourite dfc210 for just about anything.

Shaun, is it possible to use Nemesis or M-Power as a pre-spray if there is
no water extraction - only vacuum?

Nemesis and M-Power will release the sticky dirt from the fibres and will continue to do so whilst it is wet.
You would need to HWE or use Host/Envirodri (or others sponges), or encapsulation fluid to actually get the dirt up off the carpet.
Encap fluids work well on their own so I think Nemesis or M-Power would be a waste.
Sponges do need an added kick on very dirty carpets hence light mist of Nem or M- is good.

Yes you can, I would apply with spray aggitate in and then apply sponges aggitate, cup of tea and dry vac well it may take a bit longer than a cup of tea but you can be doing other things.
The flexi 5 is made for this.

I agree with Shaun about the Flexi 5.
I used it whilst I was at John Kellys getting used to the Prowler - Flexi 5 did a good job.

I like it because of it's multi uses, if I had a rug plant it would cut machinery costs down by loads.
How you going on with 'Bob' Joe?
