can i ask about this, one of the households I work for has mentioned that her window cleaner has 'sold' his round to someone else and that the new window cleaner was not at all happy with her when she said that she didnt want him to do her windows. She has her reasons why she doesn't want him, mainly because she had someone else in mind who'd do the job should her window cleaner leave. Which he has. So what happens when you buy a WC round and the client doesn't want you to go? Does that happen?

You just have to take it on the chin I guess.Customers prerogative,at the end of the day.I'd be surprised if somebody who bought a round lost more than a handful of customers.I was talking to a guy a while ago about buying a round and he said that if I lost more than 10% of the customers he'd sold me he'd reimburse me 10% of the asking price. He also said that I if I left a deposit I could clean for a month before I pay the remainder of the money.Things like this help reduce the risk somewhat, although I doubt everybody works like this.
