Title: Anyone clean domestics on bank holidays
Post by: pjulk on April 06, 2009, 07:07:30 pm
Does anyone clean domestics on bank holidays.

I don't usually but im sitting here thinking why not go to work friday as i have not nothing else on.

Its either that or the wife would want me to take her to her mothers, I would rather go to work.

Not sure if the customers will like it me turning up on a bank holiday though.

Worked a good friday a couple of years ago as behind with work schedules (don't usually work bank hols at all). All custies were ok with it . Most were in so got paid there and then and also picked up a fair amount of new custies due to them being off work themselves. ;D

i would consider commercial jobs on bank holiday (never got further than that though) but never domestic . i would be unhappy with a tradesman calling un announced to my house on a bank holiday so i wouldnt do it to others

Only worked if  job has been booked in like plastic clean or some thing else, would never just turn up on job to clean domestic windows, can you imagine having nice family barbeque and work men turn up univited.
Do clean commercial sttuff on bank holidays llike the weekly pubs because you know they are working

i would not work good friday, but easter monday or any other bank hol monday is fine in my book not xmas hols ;D

i worked the odd saturday started this about a year ago, had i few comments, nothing nasty.
just i didn't think you'd work on a staturday?
just reply yes sometimes i have to due to lost time with weather, lots of people work saturdays and bank hols.

what's the worst that can happen is custy says leave it,? i wouldn't start til 10.30ish though
lee. ;)
