I have always worked from my van no matter what but have pondering whether it might be better to do some of the backs my customers houses with a trolley/backpack. Save hassle with hoses wheelie bins, poo, bikes etc.
What do you use?
What would you not use again?
I see Omnipole do a trolley on ebay, any problems with those?

I have the omnitrolly classic.
I don't use it often but its very handy for jobs with shed loads of plants round the garden or out of the way jobs.
I just fill it from my van system.

yep thats where i travelled to, i tell you what though when i got it home and tried it out i must of looked like a circus act, tripping up, spilling water, snagging the hose etc etc etc etc etc etc, people were walking past laughing and the lad i work with looked on in horror wondering what the hell have we done. All good now though ;D

back pack for thos jobs

Aye Iwas exactly the same, added a garden hose reel and got it off to a tee now!
-
Do you find they get stuck down people's alleys, trapped on wheelie bins and the like?
-

back pack for awkward back gardens :)

Thanks for the replies, I shall think this one over...
:-\

too much messing around changing from trolley to backpack, the guy who cleans the houses over the road from my house uses a back pack on a trolley and it looks really good to use..
-
i use avan mount and do fronts, my employee does backs with the back pack,,, but theres no fillinf or lifting with barrels involved,,,,, yhe uses 2 back packs ....while hes using one the other one is filling , he just switches over on each house ;D

I think every bloody hose gets caught behind tyres, round plants, rose bushes being the worst and that proverbial dog s@@t.

Mines a sack truck with 2 x 25 ltr containers, fitted with hose reel and 30 mtrs micro bore, never have to take the trolley round the back.
-
I used Peter Fogwill's one (1 or 2 x 25L barrels)- it got me into wfp when working out of my Honda Estate.
Now I know what to do I would strap a 25L barrel to a sack track, make a pump board to carry a pump and motorcycle battery and loop a 10 metre run of hose around one of the handles.
I just use a van now tho'.
