I just fininished my own window cleaning website that has sections on Residential and Comercial Window Cleaning as well as Health and Safety.
I was hoping that people might be able to have a look on their computer at home and check for:
1) speed of loading
2) page resolution (does it fit on your screen/ do you have to scroll)
It has been a while since I did website design (nearly 5 years) so I don't know what screen res most people are on and if it is slow on a dial up conection.
I am on 1024x768 and broadband.
Many thanks
Elliot

Don't ever use the word spot with customers as they will be looking for them.

Very good .i used to have site but due to time spending updating etc and not raelly generating much business i closed it down. But i did find that most customers through a website liked to be able to contact you through a landline and also having an address gave them a little more info about where i was rather than just oxfordshire.

Thanks for all your feedback, I am aware of the spelling mistakes and will try to get them changed when I get round to it.
I was a website designer for three years before I started window cleaning. I much prefere the outdoors to an office.
I have been emailing potential customers and asking them to visit the website for more info- this way the site works for itself rather than hoping people will find it. The website also helps give the business a better image.
I don't have my home address on it because I don't like the idea of pikeys searching the internet to look for addresses of Reach and Wash unit to get their hands on.

Just looked at your website.
It gets my vote because it's simple, easy and has all the info without loads of links and puzzling junk littered all over it and don't worry over the spelling mistakes as I think small things like that make a website easy to remember.
I hate those websites where you go round and round in circles without getting to where you want to go.
A big thumbs up from me for what it's worth.
Cheers

do 'pikey's' use the internet...? In my experience of travellers...many can't even read or write...let alone switch on a computer and use it...
