At least according to Graham Doyle, MD of Pilgrim Payne in the paper yesterday.

"We're a very dirty nation - 40 per cent of upholstery in the UK is never cleaned. I wish we were more like the Americans who have an average 20 months between cleans, while we have seven years!" © Times Newspapers Ltd 2005
We can't be doing a good enough job of educating our customers! ;)

How dare you give out such information!
I shall be obtaining a warrant from her majesty for the capture and execution of Dennis on the grounds of leaking royal information.
I declare that on the 1st June he shall be dragged to the Tower through 'Traitor Gate', stretched on the rack until limbs part from torso, beheaded, the head shall then be jousted onto a spike and mounted on Tower Bridge for all to see.
SHAME ON YOU CHILD!!
It did used to be Pilgrim Payne who had the contract but he was unfortunately burnt on a bonfire after he was court cleaning her majesty's royal sofa with a carpet wand!!
The good old days eh, a past to be proud of ;D ;D ;D
