We did the project all week in the evenings, the tutor examined the papers and said we all passed and should have the certs in 2 weeks, maybe they have to go to IOSH for double checking ?

Nice one Dave,
How many of us look at those big officer blocks and hotels thinking wow!, then we dismiss it because we wouldn't know where to start?
The guy that's doing them didn't know either at one time. Training is the key to prosperity.
Four days grafting, one day work development. That includes training and marketing.
Our insurance companies wouldn't let us near a cherry picker unless we had a certificate of competence, the same goes for cradle work.
If you want to think big, then think training, it's too late for me, but you ambitious young guys should all be taking a leaf out of Dave's book.
