Title: hard water ????

i just found out i live in a hard water area ,,what does it mean i am not sure waht all i need for wfp if i have hard water do you eed extra filters ????

sorry if i soundstupid but i have never heard of hard water before (im from SA)

will need pre filters or/ and ro filter to help it out. ro filters can be van mounted or static and there are some nifty pre filters to take out the metals that help the resin last. whats your tds reading?
