Just had someone on the phone asking me to get Cooking Oil out of a nylon car seat, there is quite a big patch and the smell is strong.
I was thinking along the lines of High Force pre spray,or Solvall spotter then rince out with Fibre and Fabric rince followed by plin water with a deoderisor in, but help would be appreciated.

Hi
Solution Eco Spotter will remove the oil, however the other angle would be to approach with an enzyme solution to break the oil down, both process' should be followed with HWE

Sparrows droppings, fresh cold water rinse, wee from a virgin nun, then blot a half a boiled egg, rinse, then slightly moisten with bread and butter pudding, remember to feed wife with the remainder of currents, before putting her back in the cage.
1/ Dress up a and Ape and scare people.
2/ Have a bath in your customers houses.
3/ Clean sofas with a wand
4/ Sell toffee from a market stall
5/ Work for Chem Dry and lose your mind!! ;D

Half of the above posts offers sound advice, the other half only applies if you don't have large quantities of pure heavy water available ;)
Relatively speaking, the fabric should not present too many problems, but the foam cushioning may be holding onto loads of the oil, and this could be problematic.
Safe and happy cleaning :)
