Had a phone call from someone i left a business card with a few weeks ago, about 6.30 pm tonight. The womans story went on the lines of..... Windy knocked on her door for payment, she argued with him that he hadnt cleaned her windows so she wasnt going to pay him, im not sure when this took place but apparently the windy returned today and washed her windows with dirt to the point where she can hardly see out of em, anyhow i said i would pop down tomor morn and clean em. Now im not gonna get involved with this arguement myself but i do know this windy has a poor rep in the area regardless of wheather he cleaned em or not. Perhaps he visits this forum? ;D ;D ;D

Must be the day for strange phonecalls then. I had a phonecall about the same time myself saying " I would like a quote for my windows to be cleaned on a monthly basis." I said " Ok, give me your address and Ill pop down during the week and give you a quote." To which this guy replies " I'm not telling you where I live, just give a quote." I can't quote on a property unless I can see it." Then the guy started telling me what windows he had. I told him it'll be about £10 but without seeing them I can't be certain to which he said " Leave it with me."
What a strange one! :)

I dont know what kind of area you are in and what the wc is like, but i would think its fairly safe to say that for a wc to go to the trouble of washing her windows with dirt he has been ripped off - if he was lieing, he wouldnt of taken it so bad - just gone and conned someone else, the woman sounds like trouble If you take the job price high and make sure she pays whilst you are there or before you commence cleaning!
-
Or you could charge her double and go pay him half. Make a friend.
