Title: part time staff

is it easier to have part time staff who earn below the tax threshold? so no hassle of paying theyre tax? do we still have to pay there ni? thanks

Hi

Depends if they come under the LEL (Lower Earning Limit) your accountant will know, it is also on the form P11 if you do it by hand or in the software.

i know its around 100 pound a week ish isnt it 110 maybe? if they have no other income then there under the tax limit? thanks martin

I think it's £452 a month so x 12 / 52 £104 per week.

Its £90 a week in 2008/09 (£95 in 2009/10)
