had to have some time off this week due to my good lady being ill and had to leave my worker on his own for 4 days ( first time) thankfully just switched to wfp so no worry issues about safety for him. ive had him doing all upstairs windows 2-3 times for there first wfp clean to be double sure and downstairs trad, even with him spending so much longer on the upstairs it must still be a lot quicker because each day on his own hes done 30 -40quid a day less thn two of us do normally, which i think is great, one man on his own taking only 30-40 quid less than our 2 man daily target.
im lookin forward to gettin both of us set up now on wfp

why r u doing upstairs 2to3 times is that for 1st cleans or reguklar work ? ?
-
my regular work, coz i didnt wanna take any chances of em not bein right 1st time
-
sorry andy i was just curious as i am switching to wfp soon.. is this normal then when u make the switch and how are you finding it...
-
i dont know if its normal or not but i was told by a lot of people it takes up to 3 cleans for them to come right coz of dirt dripping down afterwards from vents etc, so ive just tried to counteract that by doing the 3 cleans first time, but when the 2 of us where working together last week for our 1st week on wfp we made our normal daily target and a bit more every day even doing them 3 times, not 1 single complaint and i also told every customer to call if not quite right, not 1 call, so i figure next month on same houses we can do lots more by only doing each window once

;D ;D ;D
its all good then
nice one...

i found this as well when my guy was working by his self....
but i find working with him keeps me motivated...

What I have found and I know numerous others agree is that, one person in a van will produce one persons work, two people in a van will not produce two peoples work.
Possibly because several times per day one of the persons will be stood around doing nothing whilst the other is still finishing off.

that is so true neil, ive nver understood it

No but you should earn over and above what you normally do and be able to pay his days wages with a profit,it will also make your day easier.
