Title: Water readings

Got a reading of 14 ppm after the membrane which is a Champ 4000. On various posts I've seen readings of 4ppm. I would like to keep mine as low as possible to save on the resin. Any advise? Or is it due to the type of membrane/my set up/pressure/hard water etc?

I wouldn't worry, a difference of only 10ppm will have virtualy no affect on your resin usage. ;)
