Have to give praise when due and have to say Renfrewshire Council and Strath Police are doing a fantastic job since the SLWCN approached them. The Licensing Police Officer ( who comes from England ) is one of the best officers I have dealt with.
Just had the latest licensing list and another increase in the right direction. One good factor is they have not only targeted sole traders but Nationals as well. With the likes of OCS and ISS now licensing their employees in all Councils areas it puts the likes of Mitie and Initial to shame.
For those who were aware Renfrew were one of the worst performing Councils with 14%, they now stand at 60% licensed in the area.
With the right people it can be acheived, well done Renfrew Council and all licensed window cleaners in that area.

Any info on South Ayrshire DA?
I enquired about licensing a year or so ago but didn`t receive any feedback.

Hi Ronnie,
I have been asked by the neighbouring Councils if the SLWCN along with the Chief of Police petition both South and East to intoduce licensing. This is still work in progress but it will take a year to introduce.
