hi i got a pure freedom 450gpd ro unit.just bought a aquatec cdp 8800 booster pump.i'm a bit confused where to put the booster pump.before or after prefilters?just heard different opinions about it.if u can help that will be great.thanks
-
after, but i doubt it will work as its an equatic pump
-
why won't work then?
-
its an equatic pump, for low value gpd usually around 50, youve got a 450gpd
-
it was reccomended by pure freedom.it's a 8800 model not 6800 which is for 50gpd
-
fair enough

what is the flow rate of this pump, I tried a pump simalar on my 4040 and it slowed down production time.
Also what price did you pay for it ?

it's says it's shouldn't exceed 125 psi(8.5)bar ,are designed for countinous duty and i think they are set to work at 70 psi.paid 99 pounds for it including delivey and vat
where did u put your pump?between 10inch filters and ro membranes ?or bofore the 10 inch filters?thanks

If booster pump is only 70psi then it's fine before pre filters, some mains pressure is way above that, sure I've read it on RO man that the RO set up is fine to 100psi.
