Title: vivaro's any good

Can any off you with vivaro's please let me know what you think about the motor just been looking at them at a vauxhall  garage today and looking on internet and the reviews don't look good. the garage i went to today offered me 4k for my 56 combo with 14.500 on the clock and trying to sell me this one

Ive got the Nissan version same van different badge on it got it new 2 years ago only done 20,000miles first chance i get getting shot of it starting to get lots of problems better of buying a Transit.

thanks for the info DARREN O i put into google the reviews off this van and ho my god loads off problems but why are thay asking so much for theses van when thay are so shxt.

i have 1 55plate the van has 50k on the clock and the gearbox has just went  :(.plus its not cheap to replace ££££s not worth the money you pay mate.its a well knowing common fault on theses vans STAY AWAY from them.lovely to drive nice looking van but loads of faults

I've had my vivaro for 2 years, 52 plate, 70k on the clock no probs what so ever, lovely van.

i've got a viavro and head went at around 38k. had it 12 months and if it didn't have a warrenty it would of cost me about 2.5k

thanks guys for all your help mite have a look at some trannys in the morning and tell vauxhall to stick the vivaro where the sun don't shine

You did well.  Mine went at 39,000

cant believe its got to the stage where people are queuing up for transits after having the "vivaro experience"....maybe vauxhall have been working with ford on this one ;)

i want a transit...did i just say that ???

i,ve got a 56 plate no problems at all, I clean a AA mans house they use Vivaros he told me its the earlier models that had problems,he also said keep away from VW Transporters!!

I got told that to also got told after the 55plate they were replaced with Nissan gearboxes dont no if its true or not but these vans are as bad as ever but what do you expect from Renault.
