I cant remember saying just because you use an outside tap that the pressure would be less, I can remember saying that a self tapping tap kit I got cut the flow(thinking about it I may have said pressure though, sorry if I did)

When I cut into the pipe and plumbed up the ro my water production was slower coming from the outside tap, I change the self tapping kick I used a compression Tee (http://s7g3.scene7.com/is/image/ae235/36637_P?$sm$) and this problem stopped.

I have very high pressure in my house it was the flow being restricted and you need both to get the best output.

Hope that answered your question, if not post again and I will reply.

i cannot see how the saddle clamp is the problem as the dia of the hole it cuts will be more than the micropipe that the RO uses ( well the normal range of RO's do, i dont know about the 4040 )

4040 uses 1/2" or 3/4" pipe  :o :o

well the 15mm T joint would improve for a 4040 RO

Tell me lads,
all you wfp guys, all i see is probs with your gear, if it,s not your pole
its your pump or your tds, or your brush, or your fan or pencil jets,
or any amount of things, question is what is wrong with trad?
automatically  you will say, (safer as you dont have to climb ladders)
The thing is, in my opinion trad does a better job.
I have been thinking of going wfp but the more i read your topics the
more i am put off. there is to many problems with wfp.
loads of you are on every night asking for help with things that are
not working right, how many trad guys are on asking about things
that dont work right? none.
now ,tell me why i should spend a few thousand pounds to buy wfp/
and dont say its safer, if you put the ladders up right there should,nt be
a prob.

When it comes to simplicity trad wins all the time, you are right there is more to go wrong with WFP Pump, RO, Battery etc.. Also if you can get to a window trad will clean it but WFP is picky sometimes as some windows just do not come up with it  :'( ........... But WFP is a good tool it has been said that its safer thats true speed is also a factor ( but not always But most of the time ) Some windows are harder to clean with trad like leaded and georgian windows.... What ever you decide m8 its up to you but I would not be with out my trusty WFP  ;D
