Title: varistream problem
Post by: p1w1 on March 19, 2009, 07:37:28 pm
hi,
I'm having a weird problem with my varistream it is turning itself on automatically   ??? . it will be be turned off then out of the blue will turn on by itself has anyone had this problem before? it has done this half a dozen times today. I have the pump, battery and varistream wired together in a box container and has turned itself on twice while its charging...

any ideas on what could be the cause?? don't think there are any ghosts in my house..

If youve got them all in a box, could it be damp?

i had the same problem. The plastic on the front of the unit had shrunk maybe due to the cold and the thing kept turning itself on

yep think thats the same problem i'm having i've noticed that the front plastic cover has moved slightly and is turning it on..sounds stupid but i'm sure thats whats causing it,  to turn it on now i have to press to the side of the main button ...
