Title: foot cream
Post by: derek west on March 18, 2009, 05:36:07 pm
just a quickie
doing a cream wool carpet tomorrow morning. stairs and 3 bedrooms.
the husband has walked foot cream round the bed.
i'm gonna to clean with a 1 to 8 multi pro as usual, i don't want to add any grease breaker or citra boost to the multi pro as its just round the bed, so! could i just mix a smal amount of GB or CB with water and spray over the effected areas then prespray as normal with the weak multi pro then acidic rinse.
sure it will be fine but thought i'd ask.

It may be worth asking to look at the creams ingredients, try find out if its water or oil based then go from there.

If oil based use Eco spotter from Altech or Special Spotter / Eco Pog / Spot Solv  from Solutions/ Hydramaster.

I'd have thought that you'll need to break it down with some kind of solvent citrus gel or liquigel and then rinse as it tends to come back when it dries.

There is a possibility that if the footcream contains peroxide, eg some anti fungals, your efforts could reactivate it and cause a bleached effect.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
