Iam picking up my Powerflight PFX1350 in a few days was maybe thinking about getting a Wonder Wand to would like some opinions on them good points and bad points and do they flush the carpet as good as a standard wand.thanks Darren

I hear lots of rave reviews about the WonderWand, especially it's drying performance.
As for flushing, it should come with appropriate jetting for your Powerflight machine. From memory, the standard jets are 01's so are smaller than most wands, but you will also be working at a higher psi than most portys do on conventional wands. Most flushing problems come from TM users who are typically working quicker so need a greater delivery rate. I believe that Amtech UK can supply larger 015 and 02 jets for these higher powered machines. This should balance the flushing issues.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi i am relatively in experienced and have the wonder wand and get on well with it have a spare conventional wand as well and do prefer the wonder wand have never had an issue with drying times. plus with the contained jets stops any spray probs either. expensive wand but cheap when you buy the machine too worth the extra. ps little tip when you get the wand it has a filter in a brass round cover make sure the cap unscrews the first filter casing i had was faulty and would not unscrew but they replaced with no questions i clean the filter out regularly. to save the jets having probs as i believe they are little dearer than normal wand jets

If you use the Wonderwand with a CFR machine (like I had) then I did clean the filter in the brass bowl very regular - sometimes on the job, but definately at the end of a job.
I would imagine if the machine is not CFR then you would get away not cleaning this filter for a week of more - trial and error.

I clean the filter about once a week, as too flushing just vary the pressure if you want more solution going down, but at 500 psi you'll empty the tank in about 20 min's, and it's not necessary. The Wonderwand is designed to go with the machine, and together they are a great package. They are also a lot cheaper than when i got mine.
