Hey guys
Ive just googled window cleaning sc unthorpe (without the space)lol and noticed that my listing on google maps has the wrong web address. It directs to another window cleaners website. Is there a way that this other window cleaner could have done this by creating an account or something?
Cheers Rob

He has just put in a listing in google with his web address and used RBWindowCleaning in the title.
Nothing you can do about it.
Except the same to him as he has done to you.

Well I have never really had an account, it just seemed to appear a couple of years ago with all the right details. I have now just opened an account and tried to edit it, I will get confirmation and a pin number in the post in 2 to 3 weeks.
How desperate are they to stoop this low!

Funny, cos our one has a different name, but everything pointing to our site. :-\

possibly a cock-up by google and not their fault?
AJ - have you ever found out why?

I suppose it is possible, but all my details have been correct for years and none have changed. I don't see why google or the googlebot would suddenly get it wrong.
If google got it wrong fair enough, if not, others beware dirty tactics could be used by your competitiors.
I have found this on google though and as it has happened to others, it does make me suss. Especially as it is another window cleaner competing against my company.
