Title: pure freedom or not
Post by: SonOfFormby on March 16, 2009, 06:41:00 pm
Is pure freedom still the best place to get a supplied/fitted van mount system from, or are there an others I should be looking at, or avoiding, I don't mind travelling for a good system/deal.

I would recomend them, I bought one of there systems second hand mounted in a vivaro. It had been a bit misstreated by the previous owner but they helped me get it going again without any great fuss, good knowlege and backup is what you want.

I fitted my system from them myself. Been using it for 2 years now. Only issue recently was changing the taps on the end of the hoses. Stupid idea anyway as they drag around, get bashed and break. More trouble than they are worth. Got the tap on the end of the pole now. great idea !!

A friend of mine has just had a 500ltr system fitted in his van along with 4040 ro etc. think it cost roughly 2k fitted. The job is very very professional. I was really impressed.

when I bought my system essentially pure was overpriced and all they seemed interested in was how much money they could make. Might be different now, I don't know.

I'd go for Pure freedom if I was you

Sounds like the same things i was asking a year ago, essentially pure where about £1000 more then purefreedom, so it was worth the 4 hour drive to Grimsby, £80 fuel, £20 kip at B&B, collected van at 4 and home for 8.
You want to come look at my system your more then welcome.

When I started I used essentially pure...
The amount of money that passed from my hand, didn't warrant the after sales service!

I began to think I was  Mr Selothane...

because you could walk right by me,
look right through me
and not even know I'm there.
I'm Mr Selothane, Mr selothane, do you know my name..... ::) >:(

Got two systems from pure freedom. Got one, expanded business, went back to pure freedom, didnt even look at any one else. Top company and all the blokes are so professional.
If you need pole training they use a professional window cleaner and its real hands on training not waste of money class room stuff. (like I spent! I cant even say their name without feeling riped off, no prizes for guessing!)

I put my 1st system in myself,(250l with DI tank, filled up from 650l tank in garage), so could do it myself, except for the tank cage, so after the hassle its prob worth just getting one of these places to do the lot  suppose.

While you are having your system fitted Freedom offer a couple of hours or more if needed with a pro pole man
Trad tools also
His name is Bryan

They must be the only manufactures to do this?

Bryan Dolby

What do they teach, If it's just basics, not much good, as I've been WFP for 18 months now, would be interested if it was working at height techniques....good idea for noobs tho.

teaching someone that has never held a pole is good, and to watch someone doing jobs and having a go is also good, if you know how to wfp then you would not need the free service they offer, but is a plus point for them and they dont charge for it like another company does

My system came from Pure freedom too.....

I would recommed them. Although I could have done with a longer brief on using the system at the time being a newbie. But a couple of phone calls later I've been sorted.

Very good.

The guy who does the training is a great bloke, ask him anything. The training is top notch as he is independant from pure freedom so his advise first class. I traveled a long way but it was well worth it!
Ive said it to Bryan in person and now on the net THANKS you are a top bloke!
