 i have a freedom trolley and have broken the connector thingys from the charger to the battery.Any ideas how to replace them? thanks  dale

the little red and black plastic bits are called pole connectors.

I was told to get them from maplins by adept (they were useless at maplins)

Best bet is a model hobby shop there's  one in leytonstone (east london) they do mail order.

sorry i'm sure this post is way too late but only got on net recently, bought a laptop 3 weeks ago ;)

basically if it's connectors on trolley i GENTLY   pulled red/blk connector towards so wire hangs out you get a few inches slack; then prise them off with small screw driver (broke them off) being carefull of metal contacts inside!. probably a better way but i was worried about dismantling trolley.


It's easy enough i'm useless at diy

P.s i'l look later for name of model shop for you.  plastic red/blk bits £2 ish as i remember.
had to replace twice now, need to do on charger now :D

same as happened to mine but broke off the connectors on the trolley, the dog chewed the red and black pieces on my charger so i just have bare wires now, i just twist the bare wires on to the bare ends of the trolley  ( i know i shouldnt) buty i make sure it is not plugged in whilst i do this...

Go to B&Q and get the male and female connectors,little white ones about 3 inches long when joined together,they have 3 pins within the male piece,go to the eletrical isle.
I found the original charging sockets were way to fragile,something I had on my Scaeletric when I was small,really surprised Pure Freedom don't supply decent ones.
