Title: charging extra for going higher
Post by: dai on March 15, 2009, 08:24:17 pm
I charge the same price for ground, first, and second floor windows. Do you charge more for going higher than this? If so what percentage?
Now I'm looking for work for a 60ft pole, I would like some ideas on pricing. I'm thinking about hotels and guest houses. Dai

You do have to price more for the higher you go as it does take longer.  Work out what you would charge for 1st and 2nd floor windows, add 20% for 3rd floor, 30% for 4th and 40% for 5th.

I charge 50p extra per window per floor above 2nd floor windows....... So ground, first and second are £1 per window 3rd floor £1.50 4th floor £2...

I have minimum charge for getting my sl2 out, so thats anything higher than 30ft, plus alot more per window

I'm still built like a brick out house, and the SL2 weighs next to nothing.

That's exactly what I am, and is why I use the Harris as an every day pole.
