Title: When your Harris pole

Starts to wear,what is the best way to prolong its life or do you just bin it and spend another £15.00

if you can keep a bottom section you may be able to use it for bottom windows/ or one of the sections you may beable to use as a instrument to push debris along gutters when cleaning gutters out from ladders.....but in general its like a scrim/microfibre cloth at £5.oo once its done its done.

drill hole in top secsion then put pin in to stop it slideing down as thats bigest problem dont thow till it snaps ,itl last a lot longer why spend £15 ,if you then cut brom handel 1ft of it and shuve it in the broken bit it will do for a spear one walst you make anuther one

just spread a little 2 part epoxy to the 4 claws

Cut up a little plastic pop botlle and slide the plastic into the claws and add a drop of superglue to hold it in place
it stops it turning and dropping of the pole , it will last for about 3 months , then just do it again ,works well for me  :)

thanks for the replies,I used a plastic bottle top with super glue,seems ok now
