hi folks looking at expanding into gutter and fascia cleaning using my wfp,but unsure of the best way to do it.thinking of buying a Vikan 10" Hi-Lo Windosills Brush from cleaning spot(seams the best brush for getting in all nooks and crannys between guttering and fascias)was thinking first dipping the brush head in traffic film brush on to gutter and fascia to be cleaned then leave for 5 minutes, then brush of using pure water is this the way to do this, sorry if i sound a bit dumb ???thanx guys
-
i did one today and picked up another this is how i do them
1 spray a cleaner called e-clean onto the facias and guttering i use a weed killer pump to do this strapped to my longest pole wait 5 mins
2 attatch my hose to the customers water supply and scrubb away useing a bently brush
3 wrap a scrim around the brush head to soak up any dirty drips and wipe off
4 collect £60 ;D
-
i run a solution of pure and tfr through a trolley system then rinse with pure, then dry off with scrim attached to top of pole.
-
I just use pure water. Works a treat.
-
just pure water and elbow grease once the green and black crap gets wet it comes off easilly. we price it at 2x their window cleaning rate.
-
that sounds cheap
-
not when you take into account our minimum window cleaning price is £17.00 so that means £34.00 for facia, plus we only do extra services as an add on to windows so that would be £51.00
-
me too clean just pure water ,always does a great job
-
Sounds very cheap to me too.
A £17.00 place sounds like a semi-detached 3 bedder, Id be going in at something like £60 for gutters on a place like that; conservatories, out houses, garage as well, theyre generally extra.
I do exactly the same as this ----piece of cake!

hey guys,
was out canvassing today and i have a couple of fascia and uPVC around dormer windows to clean. what do you reckon is the best way to do this, i was goin to go with something like hypochlorite or TFR, spray it on with backsprayer leave it a while then rub with my pole and maybe ordinary water from backpack.
im just concerned that the chemicals would damage the brush or do damage to the window if i was to use it later
-
Don't let tfr dry on the glass- it stains.
-
Use this, you leave me something in your will if you do ;D

to do and a small con that is green as grass wot would you use

is tfr or other such products safe to use on many surfaces? i was looking at my trailer (wood), it is pretty dirty. and say around a customers house, is it safe to spray on concrete, windows, plastic, near plant life, wood?

i dont see much difference!! ;D
only messing!
was there much scrubbing involved or does the chem do most of the work? how did you apply it?
-
If you go out and buy it you'll find out ;)
It isnt rocket science, dont worry.
-
you use a spray pump leave for around 5 mins then scrub, funny thing is here in the pic you see a bit of yellow, of screen it is crystal clear, must be my mobile, take of the worse using tap water, then apply ecover, no point putting anything on the top layer as that usualy comes of easy anyway,
-
i had better order some ready then looks really good
thanks mat and jouk
