Title: its all gone quiet over here

after a good start to the year its just died next week only 1 small job on monday nothing els booked  del  :'( :'(

I've only got 3 booked in for carpets and I'm really running out of diary space with oven cleaning. I think I need to employ someone to do the oven cleaning so I can just do carpets. ;D

Been a good week for me,well better than last month,even got a booking tomorrow ! few next week and a few in the pipeline  ;D

On Wednesday it was a pleasure to have 9 different carpet cleaners all call me at different times to ask me various questions although I had to stop work all of the time it was quite chuffed to find that I was loved.....well worth talking to at least.

PS My phone was quiet this morning but made up for it later this afternoon, I've even told the missus to send some cheques out :o

Too true, I get a little back though as I don't put stamps on the envelopes.

You can see who the boss is though when SHE writes them out.

Last week and this week were amazing, next week only 2 jobs booked, an £85 and a £95, looks like il get chance to hammer the postcards.

Really can't complain, I know I get booked up quick as I've been going a long time and I am soooooo good  :o oh and a bit of a cleaning nutter.

3 jobs booked next week, £250 £65 £54
2 quotes to do tomorrow morning and should get both of them.
its comercial i'm struggling on, did a £1200 quote last week, heard nothing, did a £900 this afternoon and certain they won't get back to me. think i need to follow up with a call to find out why they didn't go with me, its the only way to learn i suppose.

Last week did 13 jobs, this time last week i only had 2 Jobs booked in for the week, luckily by the end of this week ive done 11 jobs so not too bad after all, dont get to dispondant if your not too busy it only takes a few calls and the diary begins to fill up.

Think this might be close to 1 of my best weeks at £1691 from 9 jobs but £295 from 5 jobs next week .  
really going to hope for no more for next week so I can really spend a few good solid days on the Leather work , a BIG BIG money earner if bought from the client the right way but im a newy so what would I know

Derek I'd look at a day or half day rate with commercial, I price commercial on a day plus a helper.

BTW well done on the £250 job, where did you pull that one from?

i cleaned his house last year but he's bought (or maybe rented, not sure which)a new one and his wife insists i clean the carpets before they move in even though there spotless and have all ready been cleaned by the previous owner, i'm hoping to get some pictures but not sure he'll let me, he's very private, wouldn't even do me a testimonial even though he and his wife thinki'm the best cleaner in cheshire, something to do with working from home.
anyway doing it tuesday so if i get some piccies i'll post them, lovely house, (someday maybe)
