I've just got my first commercial wfp job, it was through a friend of a friend and I just emailed a very basic quote of what I would charge.
Thinking about it all, I don't think it looked very professional and wondered if anyone had any professional looking documents they use for providing quotes to commercial customers available, so I can design one of my own. What information should the quote contain (obviously the price) but what's best practice?
One more thing, should I get a standard contract drawn up by a solicitor for future commercial clients? Do you guys use contracts?
If you can help can you email neil.walsh3@ntlworld.com

just get your terms and conditions typed up. not worth getting contrats unless its a really big job.
when you send in your quote, ask them to sign the t&c and return with confirmation of acceptance of your quote.
